KABAM SLAM III Flyer 2010Kingman's annual KABAM! (Kingman Area Books are Magic) Festival kicks off off Thursday evening with the third annual KABAM SLAM! Poetry Competition.
Location:   in front of the Beale Street Brews Coffeehouse in downtown Kingman.
Open Mic, live performances by legendary slam poets Ellyn Maybe and Aaron Johnson and Ryan Brown.
Poets young and old compete for cash, prizes and most importantly: BRAGGING RIGHTS. 
Master of Ceremonies  Mikel Weiser.

This year’s SLAM will also feature live dance performances, fire twirlers, and music in an energetic "Block Party" atmosphere out front of Beale Street Brews Coffeehouse in downtown Kingman.  Performers and poets expected include Jason Alan Davis, Ryan Brown, Dan Seaman, and the Prescott Area Firespinners troupe.
